Rain Season in Chad

With the rainy season drawing to a close in eastern Chad, armed groups will soon be on the move, especially from across the border with Sudan's Darfur region and the local population fears renewed attacks.
In the village of Koukou, the displaced have fled attacks by Arab Janjaweed militias from Darfur.
But, caught in a security vacuum, they are also threatened by Chadian rebels mobilising from the east as they try to topple Chadian President Idriss Deby.
